What You'll Do 

Cisco seeks a Systems Engineer to partner with our State Department account team in a pre-sales technical role. Primary responsibilities include setting up demonstrations, explaining features and benefits to customers and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs. Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and provides consultative support in their area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.

Who You Are 

Qualifications: Ability to Obtain Government Clearances Required - Clearances a Plus - BS in Computer Science or equivalent

 - CCIE is preferred
 - Excellent understanding of Cisco products and solutions
 - 5+ years in systems engineering or architecture (pre and post sales)
 - Experience in pre-sales account planning 3+ years
 - Experience in life cycle project planning. Project management experience is a plus
 - CxO level relationship experience
  Skills required   Collaboration & Influence: * Strong Ability to Influence internal and external resources * Ability to collaborate with multiple account sellers * Strong Collaboration skills with CDO leadership to influence road maps and product direction * Ability to be flexible to align goals and priorities between organizations Communications Skills and Presence: * Ability to represent the Region to Corporate and Sales Leadership * Strong prioritization skills with proven track record of driving results * Strong verbal and written communications skills a must * Demonstrates Presence and Credibility with customers, Sales, CA, and CDO Ownership & Results: * Able to demonstrate value to the team and be seen as a Go To person for top issues * Excel at prioritizing issues based on business impact * Consistently focuses time and energy on top business issues * Collaborate with Operation Management team and extended team to solve issues * Drives for action plans, ownership, and results Technical Excellence * Cisco certifications CCNA, CCNP * Experience working with OT as well as IT * Working experience with secure mobility designs for large global enterprise * Strong verbal and written communications skills a must * Demonstrates Presence and Credibility with customers, Sales, CA, and CDO
