**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Global Information Security Business Technology (GIS-BT) team delivers three core capabilities for Pfizer. The team secures the most important information assets through world-class protective controls, promotes a cybersecurity ownership culture across the company through targeted awareness education to empower colleagues to make informed risk decisions, and partners with business leaders to enable improved outcomes through the effective application of technologies that simplify user experience and reduce risk.



The Cybersecurity Analytics Sr. Associate participates in the development and ongoing refinement of analytic models to detect cybersecurity risks and threats ranging from employee misuse to sophisticated malware. The primary responsibilities include providing input to define data collection requirements, developing and testing analytic models, measuring the analytic success rate, and refining models to improve accuracy. The development of analytic models will require the application of Boolean logic, statistical methods, data mining concepts, and behavior-based machine learning techniques. This position will work closely with GIS-BT security teams and the cybersecurity analytics data management team to identify log collection requirements. This position will also work closely with organizations external to GIS-BT to apply cybersecurity analytic capabilities to support unique business challenges. To the greatest extent possible, this position will ensure cybersecurity analytic notification and reporting is provided through self-service or automated methods to facilitate access by various user communities.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Establish and enhance cybersecurity analytics reporting capabilities for use by GIS-BT to detect and respond to security-related events



+ Act as a cybersecurity analytics representative to teams across Business Technology and Pfizer and leverage analytic capabilities to help solve specific business problems



+ Develop and refine analytic models to improve detection capabilities using various statistical, data mining, and machine learning approaches



+ Develop automated and self-service reporting capabilities to ensure information is readily available to the intended audience



+ Participate in Incident and Problem Management activities based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices and contribute to related internal and customer status communications







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ BS in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field. MS in statistics or data science preferred.



+ 3+ years IT Experience



+ 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity



+ 3+ years of experience supporting multiple analytic capabilities in an enterprise organization







**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**







+ Ability to perform detailed analysis to identify the root cause of complex service performance issues







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**







+ Standard work schedule, 20% domestic travel, and occasional international travel
