**ROLE SUMMARY**







The Global Information Security Business Technology (GIS-BT) team delivers three core capabilities for Pfizer. The team secures the most important information assets through world-class protective controls, promotes a cybersecurity ownership culture across the company through targeted awareness education to empower colleagues to make informed risk decisions, and partners with business leaders to enable improved outcomes through the effective application of technologies that simplify user experience and reduce risk.







The vulnerability management team has ambitious goals to provide preventative protection to reduce the company attack surface. The Cybersecurity Vulnerability Manager should leverage innovative approaches to respond to threats. Some of the services in this area include, but are not limited, attack and penetration services, source code analysis, vulnerability scanning, monitoring for trends, and researching new threats.







The Cybersecurity Vulnerability Manager is accountable for global delivery of operational security tools, services, and process management. The Vulnerability Manager is responsible for end-to-end service delivery, quality of the service, and producing metrics. The Cybersecurity Vulnerability Manager represents the voice of the customer and insures that the services are easy to use and meet customer requirements. The primary responsibility is to provide the highest quality service, through the effective design and deployment of service enhancements, proactive monitoring of the service, 3rd party service delivery, and facilitating continuous service improvements. The role will also lead and participate in projects in this space. The position will report to the Senior Manager, Vulnerability Management and Risk Assessments and be located in Groton, CT or Collegeville, PA.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Lead delivery of the Vulnerability Management Services



+ Monitor vulnerability trends and collaborate with other GIS organizations to implement measures of detection for the provided services.



+ Interface with business customers to deliver the highest satisfaction with services



+ Coordinate with stakeholders to develop requirements for service enhancements- Manage work activities of contingent worker resources and managed services - Lead projects and participate within the GIS vulnerability management team for security testing and continuous improvement projects



+ Lead technical response, root cause analysis, and follow-up to service issues



+ Monitor service changes following company Request for Change processes



+ Create, maintain, and monitor key operational metrics to measure service effectiveness, anticipate demand, and inform service strategy







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ BS in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or related field.



+ 6+ years IT experience with increasing responsibility



+ 2-3 years cybersecurity vulnerability service management experience



+ Strong organizational management skills



+ Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment



+ Experience participating on global IT projects



+ Excellent oral and written communications



+ Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies including web services, mobile, wearables, isolated architectures, databases security, IoT.



+ Maintain awareness of industry frameworks and best practices: Threat Modeling, OWASP, SANS Security Model

+ Domestic and International travel of 10-20%
