The PGIM Marketing team is looking for a highly organized and quantitatively focused Marketing Data Specialist to join our team. As part of our team’s efforts to increase brand awareness, the Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for managing the collection, curation, analysis and reporting of metrics and data to identify and understand the success of current marketing spend and present actionable insights to drive more effective marketing.


This role requires a working knowledge of the investment management, financial services industry and/or industries with similar business models and regulations. Overall, the candidate should have a deep interest and experience in branding and marketing with the ability to quantify and report results to drive continuous improvement of content and campaigns across channels.



  • Partner with corporate Communications, Advertising, Analytics and Research teams, as well as Conference and Branding partners to measure campaign efforts, refine dashboards and optimize reporting.
  • Collate/draw conclusions from data and make recommendations on messaging, media, conferences/sponsorships, digital/social strategy and tactical improvements to drive effectiveness and improve ROI.
  • Interpret self-serve dashboard data along with monthly reports from various areas (website, search engine optimization/keyword analyses, social media, paid media, earned media and global research) and create intuitive summary analytics reports to share with key stakeholders.
  • Develop metrics for marketing spend not yet rigorously measured (e.g. conferences, sponsorships
  • Perform ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative information to assess the competitive marketing landscape.
  • Research and understand industry survey requirements and methodologies (e.g. Pensions & Investments, IPE, among others) and partner with Investment Operations team to optimize our reporting.
  • Perform industry AUM analysis and spot movements/trends to inform our survey submission strategy.


  • Strong quantitative abilities and high proficiency with analytics reporting software (e.g. Tableau, Adobe and Google Analytics), as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience conducting market research and competitive benchmarking analysis.
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Passion for social and digital media and content marketing.
  • At least 3-4 years solid project management and time management skills.
  • Communicates effectively and collaborates well with others with the ability to influence team members of all levels.
  • 4-6 years of marketing analytics/data reporting experience in asset management/financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
