**ROLE SUMMARY**



Responsible for the creation and enforcement of policies/procedures to ensure the integrity of paper and electronic laboratory data, to include ALCOA principles.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Responsible for the review, coordination, and implementation of data integrity practices and procedures for laboratory data that impact the McPherson plant.



+ Responsible for the enforcement of data integrity policies/procedures.



+ Assist the System Administrators with data backup and audit trail reviews as necessary.



+ Assist in the procurement and validation of new instrumentation within the laboratory.



+ Own or assist in all instrument related Change Request activities within the laboratory.



+ Review logbooks and reports for ALCOA principles and Data Integrity.



+ Manage Instrument Calibration Activities







**QUALIFICATIONS**



Data Integrity Specialist must have the ability to evaluate changes to data integrity guidelines. This person must have an understanding of Biological and Chemical laboratory systems. This person needs to understand the concepts incorporated in Quality Assurance in a GMP environment.







Requires bachelor's degree in scientific field such as chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, or equivalent pharmaceutical experience. Requires 2-5 years of quality laboratory or regulatory experience in pharmaceutical industry or equivalent manufacturing field. Required skills include strong oral, written, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Capable of interfacing with multiple levels of people within the organization, including corporate management and third party customers. Superior problem solving skills are required for this position. Must be capable of coordinating multiple projects and ensuring timelines are followed. Experience with word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software is required. Experience using data analysis computer tools and statistical analysis is preferred. Experience working in a cross-functional matrix environment.
