POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides technical leadership in the field of big data and analytics for the Retirement Services Division and is responsible for working with and understanding various elements of data both internal and external to ADP and its clients. Focused on the exploration of usage patterns and profiling data from multiple sources. Assists in architectural mapping to create a conforming model, work with business and Corp teams to help build the model, and evolve to assist in model governance.


Critical partner to product management and development to understand existing data, and work towards cleansing and/or conforming data and creating improved product solutions for more intuitive use and self-service capabilities. Key driver of new standard calculations; based on knowledge and identification of business logic behind HR calculations. Identifies relationships and analyze critical factors for use in predictive modeling. Influence and guide decisions on BI objects to build based on subject matter expertise. Will help establish and apply data visualization best practices, and help dictate standards for the delivery of information.


Candidates must have knowledge of new and legacy technologies, have knowledge of relevant platforms and environments, and be familiar with business process, functions and data within domain to provide innovative, insightful, and secure data and analytic solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop solutions to combine internal and external data sets to solve problems and to create insights into data


- Build predictive models and machine learning functions, leveraging the data in order to directly answer production questions for business needs


- Create and promote an understanding of how information is created and used across the company


- Establish patterns for information sharing, data management and protection strategies, and enterprise information and data standards


- Design authority at a project level by understanding the business goals and technology constraints and designing appropriate solutions that map to the organization's enterprise architecture


- Define how a solution will be constructed: which existing Solution Building Blocks will be integrated, how they will be integrated and what gaps in capability need to be filled


- Promote a unified approach leveraging existing data sets and efforts while also ensuring collaboration throughout the organization in order to ensure adoption and common standard approach


- Provides oversight and guidance to Innovation Enablement team in India on predicative analytics model; serves as the architectural mind in creating of model(s) and as a data translator for articulating model applicability to the business


- Partners closely with Retirement Services Business as well as Small Business Services , Major Accounts, and Corporate Client Experience / Data Sciences teams inform and guide data-driven programs to improve market effectiveness, client retention, associate engagement, and product/service model strategy



Qualification:


Advanced degree in CS, Engineering and/or Statistics (or other STEM discipline), and Business Development; other related certifications are desirable


- Expert knowledge of relational databases and how to collect data from various sources including, web APIs, internal sources, and syndicated data.


- Strong knowledge of SQL, R, Python and Tableau.


- Familiarity with Big Data / Hadoop is preferred.


- Wide range of business experience, including effectively operating at all levels


- Seasoned experience in the development and maintenance of relationships in the industry and across industry/business lines, excellent communication skills.

- Machine Learning (Neural Networks, SVM, Web digital Analytics) preferred.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

- Experience in using data elements to develop strategy for client experience, operational efficiency, and sales/marketing efforts. Development of contact center analytics and performance goal setting based on data models and analysis


- Proven approach using statistical analysis to find performance outliers, call volume drivers, and contact deflection opportunities and to set strategy to drive contact handling improvement


- Creation of predicative analytics platform to support real-time risk identification and mitigation; building of risk models from historical application data using a variety of statistical techniques employing data/dimension reduction techniques to handle disparate data sources and longitudinal data


- Design and use of analytics to build pricing models; use of historical client behavior data to create decision support systems and better manage key performance indicators


- Understanding of how to use state-of-the-art statistical methods, inclusive of third-party data and demographics to identify underlying trends and proclivities of client bases


- Financial Services, Insurance, or Advertising industry experience is a plus!
