Position Title: Defined Contribution/ Benefit Data Specialist

Description:
Prudential Retirement is seeking two candidates to fill positions within the investment recordkeeping and payroll maintenance teams. These roles are responsible for performing a variety of analytical functions associated with onboarding new clients and providing on-going plan improvements and updates.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and participant set up and maintenance
  • Special processing and quality review
  • Identification of data needs and internal/external process and procedural improvements
  • Managing multiple processes simultaneously
  • Consistently meet quality and production standards and adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Performing a variety of analytical functions associated with simple and complex retirement plan activities

  • 3 years of financial and/or retirement services experience
  • Prefer college degree, or equivalent customer service and operation experience in fast-paced financial environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage tight deadlines, as well as performing multiple tasks across functions
  • Ability to manage assignments with little to no oversight.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Shows initiative and is results oriented
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of payroll or record keeping systems is a plus
