Position Title: Defined Contributions Associate

Job Location: Iowa-Dubuque
Prudential is currently hiring a Defined Contributions (DC) Associate. This role is responsible for processing transaction data (e.g., computer tapes) received from clients regarding defined contribution plan contributions, loans/withdrawals, participant changes, and other adjustments. The DC Associate prepares reports detailing daily plan transactions for Account Managers. These transactions involve direct input to OMNI, where attention to detail and quality are key factors. We currently have openings in our Operations Area for responsibilities associated to one or more of the following:  
  • Required Minimum Distributions
  • Beneficiary Servicing
  • Termination Distributions
  • Loan Withdrawals
  • In-Service Withdrawals
The ideal candidate must be motivated, confident, enjoy being challenged and works well individually and in a team-based environment.  Ideal candidate will also demonstrate a positive attitude and be a strong team player.

  • College Degree or equivalent transaction processing experience in a fast paced financial environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good follow-through skills
  • Computer proficient - accurate and fast keying skills as well as experience in a PC-based workflow system
  • Understanding of Defined Contributions Plan structure, rules and regulations a plus
  • Proven track record of (if available) accuracy and meeting high productivity standards. 
  • Proven experience exhibiting exceptional analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with others required in order to work in cohesive team and contribute to an inclusive, positive, and fun work environment. 
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required.
  • Ability to work additional hours as required to meet work volume will be expected.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
