The DesignConnect Sales Support Representative is part of a central design team located at The Home Depot store support center in Atlanta, GA. The DesignConnect team has the ability to engage and support customers on-line, in home and in the store.
The DesignConnect Sales Support Representative services customers with expert kitchen and countertop consultation and professional sales support. This role is a member of the departments Customer Engagement Team and is responsible for qualifying new kitchen customers and effective hand off to our designers, ensuring a consistent differentiated customer experience.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
30%-Engage customers in a positive and professional manner via phone and online, answering customer inquiries and determining customer needs to provide appropriate solutions within THD products and services.
20%-Support THD store associates contacting DesignConnect for assistance.
15%-Follow up on countertop and other kitchen and bath product quotes with customers, converting to sales.
15%-Assist customers with kitchen and bath product purchases.
10%-Respond to online customer ask a kitchen expert inquiries.
10%-Assist in new project assignment to designer team and maintain associated record keeping; Monitor data and related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to DesignConnect Supervisor or Manager, Operations Process Design Connect.
This position has no Direct Reports
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
