Description As a Design Thinking Strategist & Facilitator, you will have a passion for user centered design, complex problem solving, the ability to work across multiple business units, exceptional communication skills, and be able to bring ideas to life visually. In this role, you must be curious and empathetic while learning and driving different ways of working. This position will report to the Director of Design Technologies with responsibilities including but not limited to:



+ Managing the design and preparation work to ensure that all customer deliverables are achieved

+ Delivering internal coaching and training

+ Working closely with various stakeholders delivering high quality solutions while promoting a collaborative environment

+ Providing effective execution of planning processes and frameworks.

+ Proactively managing changes in scope, identifying potential crises, and engaging the proper stakeholders.

+ Managing your own workload including accurate effort estimating.

+ Implementing cross-functional projects in a complex, global environment

+ Constantly being able to embrace new challenges with the commitment to solve gnarly business and design challenges to impact the innovation across a large organization.



**Experience, Skills and Requirements**



This winning candidate will be dedicated to driving, facilitating, and delivering high quality materials from Design Thinking sessions. Moreover, they have a desire to work through the entire design process using methods like sketching, storyboarding, diagramming, prototyping, and testing. Previous experience leading 10+ Design Thinking workshops / efforts. The ability to channel the talent of a small team through the creative process is required along with the following are required:



+ A portfolio that demonstrates the results of your work and the process for how they achieved the final product.

+ Open to learning a different way of working with exceptional facilitation, organizational and visual execution skills.

+ Complete willingness to be coached and curiosity to learn = essential

+ A background in facilitation, design, education, or design-led thinking

+ Superior collaboration and facilitation skills.

+ Self-motivated with strong direction and presence.

+ Strong understanding of multiple disciplines in the software design business

+ Ability to build credibility and trust with both team members and management.

+ Excellent presentation oral and written communication skills.

+ Excellent design and execution skills including presentations, printed collateral, and video.

+ Strong conflict-resolution skills

+ Desire to influence business decisions/processes through effective networking.

+ Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities, consistently meeting deadlines.

+ Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

+ Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

+ Ability to tolerate stress.

+ 5+ years of experience in Design, Design/Business Consulting, User Research, Education. Graphic, Interaction, Service or Environment Design a plus.
