HomeNet Automotive, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a Software Engineer (DevOps) with deployment automation and containerization experience to join our team in Exton, PA. The Software Engineer (DevOps) is a versatile and highly motivated individual who supplies front line technical support and customer service. As the Software Engineer (DevOps), you will be responsible for providing escalation, technical and developer support for production issues for customers. Being a vital part of the DevOps team involves working on highly complex systems and providing general technology support services for both internal and external clients, ensuring overall customer satisfaction and total resolution of each support incident. Your role as a DevOps professional will be as a central figure supplying technical expertise to our clients as well as to other team members.

The Software Engineer (Dev Ops) is much more than a coder; they can effectively mentor those around them to improve the overall organization and team around them.

Technology We Use:

C#, ASP.NET, .Net 3.5/4.0/4.5 and Visual Studio 2008-2017, Object-oriented design concepts and design patterns, XML/JSON, SOAP/REST, WCF and multi-tier distributed systems, Amazon AWS and Micro-service technologies

Your Role:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects
  • Communicate clearly, strongly and effectively to small groups
  • Work with the team to ensure the quality of the assigned applications, functional areas or projects


Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with hands-on development using current Microsoft tools and technologies
