Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
This role is responsible for holding Homedepot.com. Vendors accountable for their performance by enforcing the policies and guidelines.  Areas of accountability include order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and transportation compliance. Sr Analyst also work closely with other departments including merchandising, inventory planning, digital content and customer service.    Once a vendor has launched onto Homedepot.com, the vendor compliance team monitors the activities of the assigned vendors to identify compliance issues and assist with corrective solutions.  The team reviews and analyzes daily reports and other related documents for patterns of activity.  Decisions beyond assigned authority are referred to higher management for approval

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Works directly with vendor partners to maintain performance goals including Fill Rate, On Time, and CHUB inventory accuracy

30%

Reviews and approves/denied vendor disputes for late orders and cancellations

10%

Responsible for managing and sustaining solid relationships with Homedepot.com

Conducts training for Homedepot.com vendors on compliance program and the policies and guidelines

10%

Enforces transportation compliance by ensuring vendors ship utilizing the carriers and methodology requested to drive maximum savings of transportation costs

10%

Collaborates with various internal departments to address vendor needs including and not limited to merchandising, digital content, inventory planning and customer service.

This position reports to Manager of Sr Manager
This position has no Direct Reports

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:


Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Math or Finance Degree Master's Degree
Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology
Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Word and Visio.
Advanced Skills in: Mini-Tab, Access, SQL, Visual Basic Skills for Data Acquisition and Analysis, Visio-Process Mapping Skills
Project Management Skills
Finance/CBA/Capital Budget Experience
