What we are looking for:

 

La Paloma Treatment Center is currently seeking a Dietary Aide to oversee dining room operations for our inpatient treatment center.

This position is located at Foundations Recovery Network’s residential treatment facility, The Oaks at La Paloma, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up and taking down buffets, restocking, and preparation related to all aspects of the kitchen/ dining room.

  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

  • Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.

  • Adhere to company safety and security policies and procedures.

  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

Job Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food service industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.

  • Ability to inspire patient confidence in the FRN Staff and the FRN Model of Treatment.
  • Adhere to the JCAHO standards.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate through conduct and communications the stability required to effectively assist patients and their family members through the FRN Model of Treatment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to streamline work processes and work cooperatively to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to learn job related material primarily through training, oral instruction and on-the-job observation.
