Job Description

Wekiva Springs Center is a 120-bed treatment facility located in Jacksonville, FL. The facility has developed many specialized mental health programs for men and women which differentiate us from other treatment providers.  Each program is customized to meet the needs of the individual and his or her family.  Our approach to treatment is individualized, holistic, multifaceted and multidisciplinary.  Our highly qualified mental health staff was carefully recruited to provide the comprehensive treatment that is the key to recovery. Our staff includes highly qualified, experienced physicians, therapists, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals from a wide range of disciplines. When a patient enters treatment at Wekiva Springs, they will be cared for by a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to recovery.  We offer a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programming that includes mental health, substance abuse treatment for adults and older adults.  We are conveniently located on Salisbury Road on the Southside of Jacksonville and a satellite office at the Beaches.  

We are currently looking for Dietary Aides to join our team of dedicated professionals.     The Dietary Aide is responsible for the following:  Assisting with preparing the salad bar, if applicable, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and unit supplies, operating the dish machine and recording machine temps and sanitizer PPM, assisting the cook as required and preparing the desserts for each meal and stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required and stocking cafeteria with needed items.

Job Requirements
  • Must have an 8th grade education or higher
  • 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to regularly life and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
