We continue to grow and expand our services to meet the demands of the community for inpatient psychiatric beds.

We are now in need of Dietary Aides for various shifts.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

  • Responsible for the preparation and serving of patient, staff and visitor meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.Assists cooks as needed. Operate needed equipment to accomplish service.

  • Responsible for cleanliness of work area, dishes, utensils, and pots and pans according to dietary procedures.

  • Puts away stock following procedures and pulls items from coolers, storerooms, and freezers

     

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Education/Training: 

High school degree or GED.

 

Experience:

Six months of dietary, retail, or commercial food service experience preferred

 

Licensure/Certification:

            None required

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Able to do inventory of items and fill orders to par levels.

  • Ability to work independently while performing assigned tasks correctly

  • Able to run and fill assorted foodservice machines such as beverage dispensers, steam tables, and popcorn machines.

  • Able to follow diagrams and lists to complete patient trays to specifications

  • Ability to interact with customers in a pleasant manner and able to handle customer complaints and problems.
