Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health is a 64-bed Residential Treatment Center that offers quality behavioral health services to adolescent males and females aged 7-21 with psychiatric, behavioral, or conduct issues.  We currently have an opening for a Dietary Supervisor, Candidates must have experience as a cook or food service supervisor and knowledge of hygiene factors involved in food preparation. This individual will be responsible for scheduling Dietary staff, guiding the preparation of food, ensuring regulations and policies are observed, working with dietician, and assisting in serving meals to residents.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServeSafe certification required
  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Effective, supportive team member
  • Well developed problem solving techniques
  • Strong display of communication competency
  • Core ability to provide Service Excellence
  • Knowledgeable in meal preparation and service as per food standard guidelines
  • Skills in cooking and reading menus
  • Ability to be self-guided
  • Culinary license a plus
