Valle Vista Health System is a free-standing, full-service provider of behavioral health and addiction treatment services. We offer treatment for psychiatric disorders as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation and detoxification services. We have offered treatment for children, adolescents and adults since 1983. Valle Vista offers a full continuum of care including day or evening outpatient services, intensive outpatient services, partial hospitalization, residential treatment and acute inpatient services.

The Dietitian plans modified diets as requested by the attending physician/licensed practitioner, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation, and nutritional principles.  The Dietitian also assists the Dietary Manager with menu revisions and Dietary policy and procedure revisions.

Education:  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nutritional studies and certification as a Dietary Manager preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in nutrutional field.

Experience:  Preferably three (3) years dietary experience in a health care facility, with concentration in nutritional assessment and planning.

Licensure:  State certification/licensure required.
