Description

The Digital Account Coordinator position provides sales support to key revenue categories and strategic, enabling the Multimedia Consultant and Digital Specialists to develop strategic relationships with new and existing advertisers. They work directly with account business owners in helping formalize marketing plans to meet their business needs and help account executives to drive incremental sales. This position will require the ongoing ability to adapt to rapidly changing sales initiatives, the introduction of new products and systems needed to fulfill the companies advertising needs. Once the campaign is underway the Coordinator will work with customers to chart optimization approaches against their key performance indicators. At the end of the campaign this person will create custom performance reports that effectively analyze how customer goals were met or exceeded with the goal of increasing retention and upsells.
Job Duties and Job Tasks
50%   Work with clients and sales in order placement and fulfillment.
  • Produce custom reporting to easily and effectively show campaign success for continued retention
  • Assist in building proposals in line with customer goals and KPIs
  • Coordinate creative fulfillment and IOs in working directly with advertisers, sales and central ad ops team
  • Troubleshoot invoicing/reconciliation with direct and 3rd party delivery metrics.
  • Work with FRC team and Accounting for account related needs in setting up accounts, establishing credit, providing invoice, etc.
25%   Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of all digital ad products, workflows and systems.
  • Support, test and when required lead the implementation and fulfillment of digital products.
  • Troubleshoot implementation hurdles causing campaign under delivery or successful launch
  • Help establish best practices based on direction from central and local ad operations leadership.
15%   Liaise IOs, creative and needed information between CMG Digital Revenue & Operations, vendors and other departments
  • Keep vendors abreast of changes in campaigns and any important updates to be aware of
  • Provide timely feedback to sales and management of campaign performance and FYIs
10% Provide training to the support and sales staff when for new products, systems and workflows
  • Communicate changes in workflow and vendor relationships to the staff

Qualifications

Requirements:
Education:
 BA/BS from a 4-year university or equivalent preferred  
  • Fields of Study/Major: Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, Liberal or Applied Arts
 
Experience:
  • At least 1 year experience working in a digital advertising operations role.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working directly with sales and marketers.
 
Additional Requirements:
Customer Service skills with ability to proactively anticipate and provide solutions to   customer needs
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to relay technical concepts to non-technical Audiences.
Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and consistently set and exceed service goals.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly
