Description:

Prudential Group Insurance is seeking a Digital Communications Manager with strong technical, strategic, and analytic skills to develop, execute, and measure engaging email campaigns and other digital experiences for our customers. You will champion and oversee the continuous improvement of our digital marketing capabilities including email template creation, personalization, multivariate testing, and targeting to achieve engagement and revenue goals. You will have broad exposure to every aspect of the business including Prudential’s enterprise-level Customer Office and will work with a diverse team of Customer Experience and Marketing professionals to help shape the direction of our evolving marketing automation program.

 

Technical expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and layout for email required.

Strong understanding of email marketing including targeting, A/B and multivariate testing, deliverability, sender score/reputation, CAN-SPAM regulations, reporting, and metrics.

Good interpersonal, communication, creative thinking, strategic, and analytic skills.

Working knowledge and/or familiarity with some or more of the following programs and systems: Salesforce marketing cloud (Email Studio), Eloqua, Litmus, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Stensul.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Familiarity with transactional email a plus.

Knowledge of group or individual insurance, financial services, healthcare or other regulated industries desired. Experience with multi-channel customer experience and self-service an asset.

Design thinking, responsive/atomic design, market research, copywriting, graphic design, and/or presentation skills a plus.


This position is responsible for leading production and content development for a specific e-business function or product area. Working closely with development, product management, marketing, graphics/design, and copywriting staff, incumbents lead the integration of content and technology for a portion of the site. Producers/Site Managers promote and maintain consistency and quality of the site's functionality, clarity, and information (both content and flow) to reinforce the firm's e-business brand and enhance the overall customer experience. For their portion of the site, incumbents exercise editorial judgment over content, whether written, visual, and/or interactive. Incumbents may serve as a liaison with strategic alliance partners in obtaining and delivering website content. Incumbents have an excellent understanding of business and product strategy and typically have four or more years of web publishing, marketing, and/or technology experience as well as strong people and project management skills.  Leads others to solve complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead teams or projects.
