 What You'll Do 

As a member of the Digital Marketing Tech Stack team, you will be the Data Subject matter expert in charge of designing, building, integrating and managing marketing specific business data objects across all the major platforms.  You will be leading the effort to build a 360 view of the customer profile across marketing.
Specific responsibilities include: 
* Responsible to define, develop and implement a robust business data dictionary of marketing data elements / objects across the organization working closely with business stakeholders, capability owners and IT.
* Responsible for all business data integration design, development and implementation across the major tech stack platforms working very closely with IT.  
* Responsible for the implementation of a consistent way to access, transform and leverage organizational data following the patterns dictated by the data strategy.  
* Works with stakeholders across marketing to ensure data is made available for Planning, Execution and Accountability arms 
* Supports ongoing changes as part of Governance of the Data Entities that have been profiled and developed 
* Understand data requirements from regional perspective and identify the data sources in partnership with program managers and regional marketing stakeholders
* Aggregate data for customer journeys opportunities based on key data triggers 
* Work with regional Program Managers to ensure alignment of workflows, data exchange processes and best practices for execution of customer journey 
* Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets 
* Implement systems for tracking data quality and consistency 
* Perform impact assessment and deep dive analysis in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, consistency, usability and completeness 
* Interpret data; document the data findings, define the plan to improve the data quality (as-required) 
* Discover basic data insights with data models and automate data transformation and data quality reports 
* Data cleanup and transformation to support the business process as required

 Who You'll Work with 

This role is focused on working closely with the Business Data Architect in implementing the organizational Data Strategy that ensures consistency in the use and understanding of critical business entities in Marketing such as Customer, Partner, Visitor, Accounts and more. This role needs to work very closely with Tech Stack Capability owners in driving consistent and efficient data principles, policies and design across all the platforms part of the Digital marketing Tech stack.

 Who You Are  

* Master's degree with 2+ years of data management related experience or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of data design and data integration experience
* 2+ years of functional marketing domain knowledge and customer / prospect data management experience experience with Marketing cloud / automation platforms like Eloqua or Marketo, Content management platforms like Adobe and Adtech platforms like Google Doubleclick etc.
* Experience with tracking codes, java script tags, data management platforms like Bluekai.
* Very strong data normalization, integration and analysis skills - ability to identify and analyze complex patterns, understand and resolve data inconsistencies and quality issues.
* Very strong SQL and data modelling experience.
* Critical thinking and ability to drive conclusions based on data findings.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to interact cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical people with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different audience 
* Experience with Map reduce/Hadoop/Oracle/Teradata
* Experience with NoSQL (SAP Hana, Hbase, HDFS, Cassandra or MongoDB) 
* Strong Excel skills 
* Data Mining or Data Governance experience a huge plus
* Reporting and data visualization experience a plus
* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
