Description

Fans 1st Media’s Digital Sales Planner will manage our day-to-day interaction with prospective + current clients including forecasting, coordinating creative, billing, campaign optimization, post campaign metrics and retention. He/she will collaborate with ad operations, content, marketing and research, CMG ad product and client delivery teams to ensure client success, clearly communicating what the client wants. The ideal candidate has solid experience pitching clients, a firm grasp of the digital/social landscape and a passion for storytelling. We are a startup where objectives can shift rapidly and deadlines are sometimes short, so only those who thrive in that culture should apply. This job reports to the Sr. Director, Audience & Business Development, based in Atlanta.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver all pre-sale needs including forecasting availability; preparing and compiling client presentations 50%
    -Develop unique campaign opportunities + compelling stories for existing and new clients
    -Research user data and audience metrics; analyzing market trends; and working with the sales         team to manage and pursue new business opportunities
• Manages all phases of the pre- and post-sale digital campaign process, including creating media  plans, gathering campaign assets, optimizing campaigns, and post-campaign retention 25%
    -Expand customer relationships through effective management and upsell of new and existing           programs accomplished with direct client communication
    -Maintain and produce weekly/monthly campaign statistics and distribute to team
    -Ability to show a complete understanding of product features and benefits, rates and packaging
• Work with leadership to ideate and create new sales opportunities, working with teams to                  brainstorm new revenue ideas for existing and new clients 25%
    -Identify new areas of revenue through research and analysis


Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred. May substitute experience for education

Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, digital sales support
• Experience pulling reports and insights from the DFP ad server and Google Analytics platforms
• Experience in MS office & Adobe products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)

• Strong communication and presentation skills - able to distill complex information from multiple sources into actionable insights
• A deep understanding of social media distribution and where it’s heading
• Fast learner, critical thinker
• Demonstrated ability to write in a very conversational tone
• Ability and enough charm to facilitate brainstorming sessions

• Ability to provide outstanding customer service

• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in using hard data and metrics to back Fluency with web analytics and conversion metrics
• A self-starter that thrives in a startup environment, can work decisions quickly, and extremely organized.
• Must be able to multi-task, with a proven history of working quickly, efficiently and accurately under deadline pressures
• Ability to work off hours when needed
