Foundations for Living is a subsidiary of UHS (Universal Health Services, Inc). Foundations For Living, which is located in Mansfield, Ohio,  is a secure residential treatment center for youth 11 to 18 years of age. Our privately funded, 84-bed center (14 males, 70 females) is accredited by CARF and licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (ODMHAS). We offer proven, pro-social programs that capitalize on the strengths of adolescents with emotional or behavioral problems.


We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Business Office Manager. Primary Responsibilities MAY Include: • Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as data entry, bookkeeping, and preparation of payrolls, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other administrative services. Enters data into McKesson/Citrix and maintains status of Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) and Project Authorization Cost (PAC) forms. Reviews and evaluates office production, revises procedures, or devises new forms to improve efficiency of work flow. Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices. Formulates procedures for systematic retention protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. Coordinates all activities of department staff.  Monitors attendance, performs evaluations, plans and directs the work of the department. Prepares activities reports for guidance of management. Maintains files of reports required for regulatory compliance. Coordinates and purchases all office and educational supplies as approved, including office furniture and facility computers. Maintains attendance and census records of services provided to students/residents. Oversees Ohio Medicaid/MITS billings and collections. Audits billings entered into the system. Monitors all outstanding accounts of payables and receivables (i.e.,  room and board revenue, MITS, miscellaneous cash collections, school/lunch program). Prepares specialized accounting reports, monthly operating report, staffing grids and financial analyses for management. Coordinates and monitors all referral and operations contracts for the facility.  Prepares and distributes contracts for UHS General Counsel approvals.  Prepares and coordinates facility’s annual budget.  State Cost Report for Title IV-E approval.  Provides assistance to contract agencies in completing Title IV-E reimbursement rates annually. Assists Central Business Office in Nashville during month end close, contract issues, collections, etc.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience.
