HOUSEKEEPER - Part Time

McDowell Center for Children is seeking a dynamic and talented part time housekeeper. 

The housekeeper - part time mainly works weekends from 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.  They may also need to fill in for the regular housekeeper on week days, if needed. 

The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas in the facility in a clean, sanitary, orderly condition providing  a suitable environment for the residents and staff to reside and work in.  Areas to clean include the multipurpose area, lobby, dayrooms and individual rooms as needed.  Must be able to use all cleaning supplies and equipment as instructed.  Ensures personal safety through effectively managing resident's behaviors. 

 

 

Job Requirements

Prefer high school diploma or equivalent. 

Prefer prior housekeeping experience in a hospital, health care of treatment setting.

Heavy physical workload  Must be able to push, pull and left up to 50 lbs.
