This is an opportunity within Global Business Analytics and Insights (BAI) to work within the Oncology Business Unit (OBU) as a consultative and strategic partner of the Global Bavencio team.







The person in this role will generate the analytics (market research and forecasting) to support the key business imperatives for Bavencio, an "anchor" brand and a major growth driver of Pfizer's Oncology portfolio. As a key member of the Bavencio team, this person will have the ability to leverage their passion for analytics and turn data into actionable insights to guide the successful commercialization of Bavencio within a hypercompetitive and dynamic environment across multiple tumor areas that are projected to launch in the near term, as well as advance the Bavencio pan-tumor portfolio in other earlier stage indications.







This role interfaces with a multidisciplinary team that includes Business Analytics colleagues (Scaled Analytics, PDA, BDE) to ensure all functions effectively collaborate to deliver smart and thoughtful solutions to address current and future business issues of the brand.







**RESPONSIBILITIES**



You will work closely with the Global Marketing & Commercial Development Bavencio team with the following responsibilities:







+ Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions. Develop analyses, insights, and strategic recommendations to inform optimal commercial and development decisions around Bavencio global launch and clinical development strategy, anticipating the changes in market environment and needs.



+ Lead the market research and analytics needs for Bavencio in key near term launch indications such as Gastric and Ovarian Cancer.



+ Collaborating effectively with Merck KGaA colleagues to advance core imperatives for the Alliance while appropriately representing Pfizer's interests.



+ Work to embed an external market point-of-view into the strategic direction of the business. Be the customer expert; provide recommendations to align customer practices and needs with brand strategy.



+ Provide leadership in developing the global LRF guidance by integrating primary research insights and secondary data or real-word data, if available. Ensure effective collaboration with regional BAI and Scaled Analytics COE colleagues to ensure development of the best models for forecasting current and future indications.



+ Present/defend forecasts revenue and assumptions up to Sr Management including VP of GMCD, VP of Finance and Oncology President. Ensure effective collaboration with PDA colleagues on the valuation and portfolio prioritization of LCPs and future indications. Provide thought partnership to BDE colleagues on the opportunity assessment of external assets.



+ Provide support on deliverables including Bavencio performance tracking, market sizing to inform key ongoing deliverables/CDP decisions and associated tumor summary reports.



+ Contribute to sharing of insights, best practices and building a culture of continuous improvement across the Oncology BAI team globally and the broader BA community.







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ 8+ years of experience in primary market research, analyzing & deriving insight from secondary data, and/or management consulting



+ 5+ years in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or related field including broad knowledge of industry dynamics (Product launches, product lifecycle management, payer and reimbursement dynamics, market and policy trends, etc.)



+ Bachelor's degree required; MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred



+ Demonstrates "OWN IT" behavior



+ Strong thought leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions



+ Strong communication and influence skills; demonstrated ability to partner with and effectively manage cross-functional colleagues



+ Comfort with ambiguity and flexible to changing business dynamics



+ Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and information, and formulating actionable insights and business recommendations



+ Experience developing and managing complex global primary research (qualitative and quantitative)



+ Experience with product revenue forecasting preferred



+ Oncology experience preferred
