Our Campus Recruiting program is a well-established, critical part of our overall Staffing strategy. The team focuses on early identification, undergraduate, MBA, and ultimately full-time conversions which aligns us with other top companies and ensures a strong leadership pipeline for the Company.

 

Reporting to VP of Campus Recruiting, you will lead the design and implementation of recruiting programs, identify and utilize innovative tools and technologies and lead a team of recruiters and coordinators to meet the early career talent needs across Prudential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide date to day leadership to campus Recruiters and Coordinators (talent development, coaching, performance management, hiring, etc.)
  • Lead large, cross-functional initiatives, as well as change / transformation efforts for Campus Recruiting with accountability for results

  • Evaluate the use and business impact of existing campus strategies, programs and solutions by reviewing and analyzing metrics, customer satisfaction and other data points

  • Identify new opportunities for improvement and builds the business case to deliver on these initiatives

  • Partner with VP of Campus Recruiting, Human Resources Business Partners and Business teams to implement solutions that leverage technology for optimal results across event management, candidate experience, assessment and selection, interview scheduling as well as the offer phases of the recruiting cycle 

  • Represent campus business requirements for all recruiting technology initiatives and actively participate in implementations of new solutions

  • Monitor internal and external trends and best practices in talent acquisition related to campus recruiting; benchmark best practices in and outside of the industry and explore new approaches and technologies to attract, recruit and hire talent

  • Enhance controls within the recruiting processes that maximize efficiency while keeping the teams operationally compliant

  • Partner with Branding and Marketing teams to develop campaigns, social media strategies and materials to support campus recruiting efforts

     

     


  • BA/BS from an accredited college/university

  • Minimum 8 years of professional work experience in campus or university relations, management consulting, operations, talent acquisition and/or human capital consulting

  • At least 5 years of managerial experience with demonstrated success in leading teams, talent development, coaching and performance management (previous experience leading a large team in high volume, high touch, fast turnaround time environment, a plus)

  • Strong consulting skills and the ability to quickly assess situations, identify gaps, clearly articulate what needs to be done, and mobilize others in the right direction

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think through problems and recommend solutions while understanding downstream impacts; make data driven decisions based on evaluation of qualitative and quantitative inputs

  • Proven history of scaling operations through process simplification and automation where feasible

  • Connect the dots across an end-to-end service for recruiters and coordinators from start to finish

  • Demonstrated experience building strong and influential relationships across all levels of an organization with a solution oriented approach

  • Outstanding project management skills including needs analysis, budget and resource management and project planning

  • Results oriented leader with a high degree of independence

  • Deliver results under difficult conditions and demonstrates balanced judgment under pressure; can be direct and forceful while remaining diplomatic and professional
