Description A member of Business Analytics & Insights responsible for the delivery of BAI services and client engagement for client leads in Pfizer Innovative Health, partnering with these clients to drive strategic commercial decisions. This role interfaces with other BAI teams to ensure all resources are fully and appropriately leveraged to deliver robust solutions to business issues.

Serve as a key business partner who will lead analytic and strategic initiatives and provide analytic support and actionable customer insights for the US Chantix/Global Champix brand. Colleague may also periodically work across brands in the IM portfolio as required. Responsible for development of rigorous analytics-based market insights and business intelligence to inform optimal strategic brand/portfolio decision-making, ensure successful marketing execution, and measure performance.

Act as strategic partner with marketing, medical, sales and global colleagues to frame, investigate and answer key business questions related to Chantix/Champix marketplace success. Use the tools of primary and secondary market research and data analysis to provide unbiased, objective, in-depth understanding of the market, product performance, customers, and


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Deliver rigorous, analytics-based decision strategic partnering to client teams through leading Product/market/customer research, analytics, and insight generation.

+ Lead the identification of information needs and development of research/data analysis plan, manage the research process, and communicate actionable insights.

+ Provide analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to support business planning process, ensuring that there is a thorough understanding of the disease area, assets, customers, and competitors.

+ Work effectively with US commercial client teams, BAI team members, other StratCo colleagues, and partner enabling functions (e.g. Medical, PCA, Finance) to deliver the highest level of service to the business.

+ Communicate research and analysis insights across relevant forums in order to share and broadly inform key decision makers.

+ Identify key metrics to track asset performance and evaluate market opportunities based on an understanding of competitive market dynamics.


+ Strong thought leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions.

+ Skilled with the tools of primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research to develop and execute the most appropriate analytics.

+ Proven ability to recognize interactions between insights, identify trends, innovate, proactively recognize future business needs and link them to current and future analytics. Exceptional analytical skills with demonstrated experience extracting valuable insights from complex data-sets.

+ Ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations

+ Ability to not only deliver answers to specific business questions, but to own the analytics approach and process, develop insights and make strategic business recommendations. Must have strong leadership in guiding the team in strategic direction/decisions.

+ Ability to quickly establish credibility with internal client-partners and external stakeholders.

+ Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience and comfort communicating persuasively and clearly with Senior commercial leaders. High profile role in presenting to external stakeholders and third-parties. Ability to manage simultaneously multiple projects involving a variety of internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional stakeholders.

8+ years of experience with a BA/BS required; Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (MBA/MA/MS/PhD) preferred. Experience leading and achieving results through matrixed organizations. Track record of thought partnership with commercial leadership to advance organizational priorities and goals.
