The Advanced Threat Solutions team, as part of the Global Security Sales Organization, is chartered with incubating new, emerging and acquired security solutions from a sales and go-to-market perspective.


What You’ll Do

We are seeking a strategic, highly experienced individual to lead the organization and management team responsible for Worldwide Sales, Systems Engineering and Sales Operations for Cisco’s Cloud Security business.  

Role & Responsibilities

  • Sales responsibilities for Identifying, developing and implementing key initiatives that align with ATS Strategy & Execution Priorities
  • Go to Market Sales Model - Leading /coaching teams through transformation with Account Planning/Opportunity Identification, Business Relevant / Customer Value Selling, Business Disciplines, Challenger Sales Strategy
  • Financial Performance - Exceeding bookings goal, managing opex goal, and maintaining forecast accuracy; providing visibility and in-depth knowledge into numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models)
  • Team Development - Attracting, developing and retaining high performance Account Team talent (career development, coaching, performance management and hiring).
  • Focusing on contributing to the long-term success of GSSO by being a collaborative leader amongst your peers. Consistently striving to improve and reinvent yourself.

  • 10+ years Technical and/or Security leadership experience
  • Experience in start-up or incubation functions within large organizations
  • Successful track record in over achieving results
  • Deep understanding of cloud models and software sales methodologies
  • Proven leadership skills in a multidisciplinary and virtual team environment
  • Relationship building, listening, influencing, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Strong understanding or be able to learn quickly the market trends and key business and technical aspects of network and content security and points of differentiation for Cisco
  • Working knowledge of Cisco field sales organizations and their respective go to market models, as well as an understanding of how to get things done
