Job Details

Provide Business Analytics and Insights to support investment decisions of the commercial development and business development teams for I&I as well as global analytics support for Enbrel . Bring key customer insights and subject matter expertise to cross functional teams, using secondary data analysis, real world analytics, primary market research, forecasting and competitive intelligence.

**Support I&I Commercial & Business Development for Rheumatology and global in-line support for Enbrel**

+ Provide market analytics leadership to Commercial and Business Development stakeholders within the Pfizer Innovative Health Business Unit to drive investment decisions for rheumatology indications. Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of both internal Pfizer pipeline and external licensing opportunities. Provide analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to support dynamic business development planning process.

+ Lead identification of information needs, development of research and data analysis plans, management of the research process, and communication of actionable insights within aggressive timelines and changing business dynamics.

+ Communicate insights across relevant forums (Therapeutic Area Strategy Teams, Business Development Teams, Asset and Commercial Teams, BU Leadership, etc.) in order to share and broadly inform key decision makers.

+ For Commercial and Asset Teams, evaluate brand strategies and lifecycle opportunities using the tools of primary and secondary market research and analysis to provide objective, in-depth understanding of the market landscape, customers, and competitors. Work to embed an external market point-of-view into the strategic direction of the business. Be the customer expert; provide recommendations to align customer practices and needs with product development strategy.

+ Act as a key member of the Enbrel global team as the BAI business partner; provide analytical leadership to the global team.

+ Bring key customer insights and subject matter expertise to the Disease Area Working Groups (DAWGs) extended teams. The DAWGs are the key cross functional groups/forum to maintain and evolve a deep understanding of our Disease Areas of focus, ensure consistency of assumptions on competition and market assumptions between pipeline and inline teams, share learnings from our experiences across the functions both global and regional.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with BAI and the broader Global Business Analytics (GBA) colleagues, especially colleagues in the forecasting function in Scaled Analytics in the development and refinement of asset-level forecasts. Align and leverage disease area knowledge and insights across geographies. **Non-brand and Above brand macro analytical support**

+ Collaborate with Strategy, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications to enhance Pfizer's leadership position in the pharmaceutical sector

+ Lead cross-brand and above-brand analyses to answer questions that are not brand specific

+ Provide analytics that address long-term issues of the pharmaceutical industry

+ Support and help refine external communication positions for Pfizer

**Providing thought leadership to BAI**

+ Identify opportunities to support CD and BD using different and more efficient data gathering methodologies

+ Support GBA projects across the organization in coordination and direction from the GBA leadership

+ Support and enable knowledge management standards, continuous improvement, and consistent service delivery across BAI

+ Build and sustain strong collaborative working relationship across BA and broader GBA

MBA, MA, MS or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred


+ 10+ years of strong multi-discipline analytical experience, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry, management consulting, commercial or operations roles

+ Experience leading and managing complex projects

+ Experience leading and achieving results through matrixed organizations.

+ 20% travel, mainly domestic, but may include international travel
