The 'Commercial Growth Portfolio Director' is a critical role responsible for collaborating with regional commercial teams and R&D functional business partners to maximize the impact of R&D investments into PEH growth. The current growth portfolio of projects is forecasted to generate $1.5B of value over the next 15yrs with an annual R&D budget of ~$30M.

The goal of this position is to oversee the robust, centralized, rigorous process for commercial business case review and analysis. These activities are to enable global project prioritization across the growth portfolio, and across regions, within aligned budgeting and financial guidance. In addition, this position drives to understand how cases evolve from a value and risk perspective as they progress, and how commercial follows-through on these opportunities after regulatory approval.


+ Work collaboratively with global/regional PEH Commercial and R&D stakeholders to establish a culture that drives an agile and innovative organization

+ Manage the commercial portfolio of ~200 global cases and the corresponding financial business case information

+ Manage the centralized process for data collection and analysis of growth cases

+ Actively lead the buy-up and cancellation of cases for the portfolio, including presentations at leadership forums to enable these decisions, in an effort to maximize the return on our R&D budget

+ Drive reporting and communication of case progress

+ Provide actionable recommendations to support the business priorities

+ Proactively identify opportunities to mitigate risks within the cases or the portfolio


+ Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical discipline, business, strategy or related quantitative field; MBA preferred

+ Prior experience across corporate finance, business development, analytics, commercial development, pricing, portfolio management, etc.

+ Project management experience required - managing a complex business project with multiple stakeholders and the ability to communicate up and across peers at all levels of the organization
