Description **ROLE SUMMARY**



Reporting to the Senior Director Strategy development and data and analytics this position is a a member of the Strategy Development Team in the Pfizer Global Supply organization, the colleague will be member of the team responsible for performing mathematical modeling and analyzing information to support strategic initiatives.

This Colleague will work with other team members in defining and developing information needs, standards, decision support solutions that will lay foundation for supporting analysis across various manufacturing units at Pfizer.

The data analytics and design will cover the scope of all aspect of the PGS business and assigned aspect of the PIH and PEH business units.



Responsibilities:

Provide direct data analytics support towards strategic initiatives led by strategy leaders by developing mathematical models and performing analysis. Work closely with other members in the team to define standards and develop / maintain the information / solution platform to support strategic initiatives.

Key accountability to provide necessary data analysis support for strategic initiatives across the strategy development team.

Responsible for supporting Strategy Leaders within the Team by developing mathematical model to analyze value impact of a strategic initiative.



Provide analytical support to product risk assessment and scenario planning platforms enabling network readiness for growth and network optimization.

Ability to work independently and develop as well as implement innovative analytical models to support strategic initiatives.

Works to develop and implement innovative analytical solutions and insights to support the objectives of the strategy development organization.



Develop knowledge base to support strategic initiatives post close out.

On need basis, provide necessary support for other initiatives across Pfizer Global Supply organization, such as :

Long Range Volume Forecasting Manufacturing Network Long Term Capacity Analysis Sourcing Strategies Strategy Prioritization Plant Network Strategy / Risk Analysis Localization impact



Delivers up a process that ensures alignment and partnership with critical PGS enabling function such as external supply operations, engineering, technology functions and others within PGS



Collaborates and works with other data analytics and design team members within PPM (EPPM, ONC, Vaccines) on common analytics platforms to drive best practices, sustainability, and highly orchestrated supply network.



Provide ad-hoc analytics to support management decisions on an as needed basis:



• Support to Network Capacity & Finance assessments

• Sourcing decisions

• PNS decisions

• Business continuity assessments



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is required, advanced technical or business degree is preferred.



Bachelor's Degree (Maser's preferred) in Management Science / Statistics / Mathematics or Engineering, with a minimum 10+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or related field.



Experience in Mathematical Modeling, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Data Mining, Business Case Evaluation, Project Prioritization, and Project Management required.



Experience in database programming, SQL scripts, VB and/or other programming languages.



Hands on experience with Predictive Analytics (e.g., Alteryx), Data Visualization solutions (e.g. Tableau), developing Decision Support Solutions

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)

Experience with ERP and Data Warehouse and Reporting Systems is a plus.



Fluent in English (verbal and written); other languages helpful but not required

Strong matrix management, organization, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with and present to senior management
