TITLE:             Director, Data Analytics (The Prudential Insurance Company of America –Newark, NJ and various and unanticipated Prudential sites nationally and internationally)
DUTIES:          Stand up centralize analytics capability for the U.S. businesses. Partnerand collaborate with U.S business partners to provide strategic direction, recommendations and executions via analytics. Lead a team of data analysts and system programmers that provide performance analysis, reporting, business analysis, insights and recommendations for the U.S businesses. Develop and implement data collection and analysis strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and dataquality. Define analyticsapproach and strategy on projects in line with business partner needs. Lead projects involving analyses and mining of large data sets, providing strategic recommendation to the business partners. Develop hypothesis and identify opportunities to test based on data analysis. Leverage industry benchmarks and best practices. Identify new applications for StrategicAnalytics capabilities and implement as applicable. Enhanceexisting analytics capability within the team and drive strategic analysis for service model transformation. Work across business to gain buy-in and build consensus to deliver on objectives. Work with team and operations to maximize project delivery quality, timeliness and efficiencies in order to deliver high-value and relevant insightsto our business partners quickly and effectively.

REQTS:           Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Engineering (any),or a related field plus ten(10) years of progressively responsible experience in the positionoffered or as an Assistant Vice President, Strategic Analytics; Consultant, Research & Modeling; Assistant Manager, Decision Analytics; Senior Programmer Analyst; Programmer Analyst; or a related position. Must have ten(10) years of progressively responsible experience with: leading or executing complex analytics and multiple consulting projects; operations optimization; predictive modeling; statistical analysis; segmentation; mining and manipulating large data sets for analysis and providing insights for strategicrecommendations; working with senior executive leadership to advance analyticscapability; Base SAS including SAS/Macros and SAS/SQL; Enterprise Miner; Enterprise Guide; Excel; and VBA. Must have four(4) years of experience with: data analytics techniques including time series forecasting, actuarial analytics, multivariate regression analysis, financial modeling, test campaign designs and reads, call center analytics, or Tableau; customer value analytics; defining analytics approach and strategy to establish new products and capabilities; working with cross-functional and global teams including direct reports; and leading and executing business case for new product, channel, partnership, and operations strategy launch. 20% travel is required.
