Prudential’s Workplace Solutions Group (WSG) Financial Wellness team is seeking a Director of Distribution Effectiveness to enable the distribution of financial wellness solutions and experiences through the Retirement and Group Insurance businesses.


Prudential’s Workplace Solutions Group includes Prudential’s Retirement and Group Insurance businesses; the Group serves over 20 million individuals across a wide range of institutional clients.  The mission of the WSG Financial Wellness team is to lead the development and delivery of capabilities and services that improve the financial wellness of individuals, strengthen the value proposition of and to the institutional businesses, and facilitate the development of deeper consumer relationships.


This leader will work collaboratively with Prudential’s Retirement business, Group Insurance business, Prudential Advisers, the Customer Office, and other partners to measure progress against financial wellness goals, and optimize execution against those goals. The incumbent will need to align the financial wellness distribution strategy with existing distribution processes within the businesses, and partner with Training and Marketing to develop and execute training and market-readiness plans.


Responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Partner with the businesses to develop distribution models that will allow for the successful distribution of financial wellness capabilities
  • Measure financial wellness distribution outcomes and partner with the businesses and product owners to change distribution methods or enabling components as needed to meet goals and objectives
  • Ensure market-facing teams are equipped with the appropriate training and marketing materials required to lead successful conversations in the market, and drive distribution outcomes
  • Partner with distribution leadership and training teams to identify training needs and gaps, and in concert with the training teams develop a training plan to address those needs
  • Bring consistency and scale across the businesses in terms of how we most effectively bring our message to the market and drive business results
  • Serve as main point of contact for market facing teams to address their needs as it relates to distributing financial wellness solutions


  • 10 years overall business experience, with 5 years of distribution or marketing experience
  • Experience within the financial services industry preferred, particularly with experience distributing to institutional customers
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive distribution results by enabling market-facing teams through distribution strategy design and/or design of messaging/content required for a successful sale
  • Experience leveraging data and analytics to measure outcomes, and leveraging those insights to drive positive change
  • Ability to lead within a matrixed organization to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Highly collaborative with strong partnering skills
  • Strong executive presentation skills - both oral and written
  • High integrity and enthusiasm
