*Role Description*

Vyndaqel has been approved and launched for TTR-FAP in the EU as well as several markets around the world. The Vyndaqel global team is actively seeking approval in the US with the potential launch in the 2018/2019. The Global Marketing Director - Vyndaqel will have primary responsible for the development on the US launch plan and the activities to support this potential launch for TTR-FAP. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience launching therapies in the US marketplace. Vyndaqel will transition to the US prior to the launch and this role and its incumbent may transition to the US to lead the launch. The individual will also work with the commercial sub team leads and will act as lead on specific projects for the TTR-FAP and CM indications. They will work alongside regional marketing leads for International Developed Markets (IDM) and Emerging Markets (EM) to develop and execute on these projects and other brand priorities. Vyndaqel is the fastest growing product in the Pfizer Rare Disease portfolio.As mentioned above, Vyndaqel is also being developed for the indication of cardiomyopathy. Therefore, close coordination and alignment with the commercial lead for cardiomyopathy will be critical to ensure that the global and regional strategies for the asset and franchise are optimized. The ability to lead and coordinate across multiple teams and launches in the US requires an experienced launch and/or new product planning skill set for this position.This position reports to the Global Marketing Lead, TTR-Amyloidosis.



*Responsibilities*

*Lead the efforts to develop launch plans for the US market including appropriate resources to support a successful launch in 2018. *Assist TTR-FAP global marketing lead with lifecycle management including the Vyndaqel Peri-symptomatic indication and high dose strategies. The core responsibilities include forecasting the patient uptake, defining and executing market development strategies and developing a Peri-symptomatic global brand plan to ensure launch excellence in markets by assisting regional / country marketing teams.*This role will be responsible for development of market development and launch readiness for the TTR-FAP in the US and assist with market development for the CM indication working with the Global Commercial CM lead.*This role will also be responsible for US advocacy and community engagement activities supporting the Rare Disease Community Engagement group.*Other areas of involvement and/or responsibility include:Evolution of patient journey and insightsCore asset development activities, including branding elements and positioning frameworksProduct differentiation based on market needs and product label alignmentCompetitive insights and strategy planningLifecycle planningInput into market access strategyCollaboration with Corporate Affairs to drive regional and/or national public policy initiativesReview and calibration of long range forecasts (LRF)*Make appropriate strategic and investment recommendations to Global Innovative Health and Pfizer governance, including Rare Disease BD-PC, Operating Committee & LT, DevCo, PSI and BDC as needed.



*Qualifications*

*10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with 3 -5 years global and or regional product marketing experience*Global / US launch experience required*Prior experience in global or regional marketing and commercial strategy with knowledge of asset development required.*Knowledge of rare disease space preferred*Demonstrated strong strategic thinking and analytic skills in order to help set brand strategy and team priorities*Strong business acumen, demonstrated flexibility, and project management skills*Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation; able to build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships*Strong communication skills, ability to mobilize key stakeholders, engage senior leadership*Ability to navigate internal organization/processes*Ability to engage and influence cross-functional team members, even without direct reporting relationships and positional authority*Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree (eg, MBA, MPH) preferred*Experience of accurate revenue forecasting and assumption generation*Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships to influence; networking skills; strong customer focus (e.g., ability to achieve win/win resolutions with key stakeholders)*Ability to frame projects to clearly define objectives, work plan, key stakeholders, and decision-making process*Strong project management skills with ability to rebalance priorities on a regular basis and to quickly assume responsibility in a multi-tasking environment*Enthusiasm, self-motivation, confidence, tenacity and high energy are essential
