The National Accounts Services Benefits Partner Development team plays a key role as ADP expands its ability to compete in the Benefits and Insurance ecosystem through partnerships in the Product/Technology, Broker/Consultant, and Carrier space.

ADP is Hiring a Director of Benefits Product Partner Development: By strengthening existing partnerships, and developing new ones, this leader will contribute directly to ADP's ability to close competitive gaps, expand distribution opportunities, differentiate our offering, and expand our financial flexibility. In this dynamic industry and entrepreneurial environment, interactions will be with senior leaders internally and externally, typically VP/SVP and beyond. Success is based on generating tangible business results, and for those who thrive in unstructured situations, this will be a very rewarding opportunity.


* Understand Benefits market opportunities and prioritize partnership options.

* Identify and develop relationships with target partners.

* Be the \"business owner\" for product, operational, financial and related plans, develop capabilities and ongoing cross-functional support models, and manage ongoing strategic relationships once established.

* Accountable for growth, revenue, and operational outcomes, and must be a self-starter able to articulate a vision and work with strong matrix teams.

* Research and interpret industry trends and competitive information to develop strategies and tactics for responding to changes in the partner marketplace.

* Responsible for developing the Benefits partner portfolio strategy and driving the overall growth of the Benefits portfolio by identifying opportunities for further exploration and analysis, including potential carrier, broker and product partnerships.

* Perform critical analysis of identified opportunities and develop recommendations, draft operating plans and pro forma financial statements, business case statements, business plans, and project implementation plans.

* Present new opportunities and updates on existing projects to senior and executive management

* Lead the implementation of approved projects. Monitor, gather and analyze data on projects in process, communicate performance against established project milestones, and make follow up recommendations.

* Lead/manage 3rd part vendor relationships as an extension of the Benefits portfolio

* Represent the business as the liaison with strategy, product management, development, pricing, financials, marketing and sales


* Industry Knowledge: Ideally Knowledge of Benefits Partnerships: Carriers, Brokers, and Legal Requirements: Affordable Care Act, ERISA, etc.

* Must be an intelligent, articulate and persuasive leader who can serve as an effective member of the partner strategy team and who is able to communicate to multiple constituencies with demonstrated leadership, communications, partnerships, process and change management competencies. Strong written and verbal communication, with a very strong client centric perspective.

* Maintains a good rapport in a matrix environment; knows the people and resources that can provide assistance and appropriately escalates issues. Experience in managing relationships / partnerships with internal and external constituents.

* Abilty to influence internal and external leaders and stakeholders at all levels.

* Must be open to 15-25% Travel.

* The ideal candidate will have Strong Knowledge of the Benefits Industry: Health Insurance, Carriers, Medical, Dental, Vision, Broker Relationships, Health Savings Accounts, FSA, etc. for example.

* Sr. Leadership Experience in a Client Facing environment at the Sr. Manager OR Director level.

* A Bachelors Degree OR Advanced Degree is Preferred.

* At least 2-3 Years as a Sr. Manager OR Director Level Leadership Experience is Preferred.
