ADP is hiring a Director HR Technology Operations & Systems Administration.The Director of HR Technology Operations & System Administration is responsible for leading the business support teams for HR Technology at ADP globally. The role is responsible to ensure prioritization of HR Technology work, alignment with HR technology priorities, and manages deployment, system maintenance, upgrades and ongoing operations, providing for a superior user experience for managers and associates. Works directly with the HR Leadership Team and IT partners to ensure alignment of resources and priorities.

The Director HR Technology Operations and System Administration leads and is responsible for management of a team of HR Technical Support analysts responsible for the on-going administration and technical support for HR Systems including:

  • Core HRMS: EV5, GlobalView, HR Central, ESS/MSS globally
  • Time systems - eTime, GV Time, country specific applications
  • Learning tools and related platforms including iSucceed
  • Global Talent and Development tools and platforms including Skillsoft, Leader and Network Compass, Talent Marketplace
  • Compensation support tools - Comp Planner, Comp Viewer, Global Job
  • CSR & Diversity - Globoforce, OC Tanner, Associate Survey
  • Talent Acquisition tools and platforms including RM, Virtual Edge
  • iSucceed for Performance Management and Succession Planning

Responsibilities include:

  • Administer technology project prioritization process in partnership with Enterprise Applications.
  • Manage systems application administration and technical support of assigned systems. Own responsibility for Tier 2 escalation support for issues.
  • Coordinate the Agile development process with development partners, including providing subject matter expertise, review and design/development of user stories and alignment of projects within and between sprints.
  • Ensure optimized delivery of data to/from HR Core systems. Implement procedures supporting data accuracy / quality and data audits.
  • Manage the Systems Administration team consisting of systems analysts, system administrators and HR system SMEs. Department management including analyzing resource needs, creating a high performance team environment that reinforces career growth and development. Foster company objectives in diversity, talent development, and engagement.
  • Ensures end user satisfaction through establishment of, and performance against SLA's, satisfaction surveys and regular interaction with key stakeholders.
  • Reports to and coordinates with key stakeholders on progress and issues with development cycles and HR technology project resources.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience
  • Minimum 15+ years related experience.
  • Experience managing a team of 10+ direct reports.
  • Extensive experience in HR data and HR systems.
  • Proven track record of directly managing a staff, developing successful client relationships and driving projects to completion.
  • Ability to be successful in a fast paced, constantly changing, results oriented environment.
  • Ability to think and operate autonomously and strategically


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Global systems experience, understanding of HCM and Payroll processing requirements
  • Supporting deployments within a large international organization
