We have a great career opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our global HR team, partnering primarily with PGIM Investments.  With approximately 450 employees and $90b in assets under management, PGIM Investments remains among the industry’s fastest organically growing mutual fund families, ranking among the top five since 2008.

In this HRBP role, you will work closely with leaders on the achievement of business results and the associated talent agenda and enable business solutions through proactive consultation and execution. 

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identify HR priorities, risk and opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Develop and implement people initiatives and programs with a focus on future organizational needs as well as current needs
  • Offer direction, coaching and facilitation to all employees and managers to ensure alignment with company strategy and values, including guidance on problem solving, conflict resolution, compliance and development.
  • Plan and drive change, enhance organizational effectiveness, identify areas for improvement and efficiencies
  • Advise and execute on all key HR-related disciplines, including talent and succession planning, performance management, effective reward and pay strategies and policy interpretations
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise on matters of employee relations, diversity & inclusion and talent acquisition
  • Serve as an internal coach and trusted advisor to leaders.  Advise managers on various strategic business matters, talent topics and general HR issues
  • Measure and evaluate the impact of HR solutions to enhance fact-based decision-making
  • Provide leaders with data analysis and insights to help shape people practices and policies
  • Provide consultative expertise in how to create a positive work environment in which people will choose to be engaged and contribute to the goals of the organization
  • Participate in cross business initiatives within and outside of PGIM

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR or similar roles required; Financial Services experience strongly preferred
  • A solid track record of achievement as an HR business partner and advisor to leaders; Can think strategically but also execute and deliver on commitments
  • Successful track record of relationship building, collaboration, problem solving and demonstrating sound judgment
  • Ability to translate business needs into human resources priorities and ensure alignment
  • Ability to provide confident, consultative advice to management and employees on all aspects of professional development, organizational change and performance
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrate high energy, resiliency, capacity and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Adapts communications and style to meet the situational need
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with sales organizations and related compensation structures a plus
  • High level of flexibility, innovation and adaptability to change
  • Proficient with MS Office tools
