Description

The Director Marketing Analytics will leverage analytics to support B2C and B2B marketing strategy development and inform decision making. He/she will provide marketing insights and recommendations that maximize quality audience traffic, engagement, and ROI. He/she will leverage dealer segmentation insights to support development of powerful B2B marketing strategies that maximize customer penetration, revenues, and profits. The leader should possess a strong passion for leading Analytics teams and projects that assess and deliver actionable insights which drive improved business performance.  He/she must have strong leadership skills with a focus on leading high profile marketing, customer and business analytics projects and teams.  In this highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, this individual will be responsible for establishing baselines in a marketing test & learn culture, reporting on marketing program measurement and effectiveness, assessing marketing and business opportunity and understanding and communicating cross-concept and omni-channel customer insights. They will be integral in transforming the way that the organization consumes and reacts to customer data.  This position will have the opportunity to develop strategies, present findings and share insights with multiple business leaders throughout the organization. 


1. Provide insights to Marketing and other business partners through analysis of revenue, sales conversion and yield data to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of our Marketing and business operations.
2. Leverage analytics and insights to maximize quality traffic at the highest ROI.
3. Support B2B Marketing strategy development.
4. Provide comprehensive traffic reporting and insights to inform audience acquisition, engagement, and management.
5. Providing deep understanding of consumer brand and platform behaviors to enhance audience acquisition, engagement, and management.
6.  Serve as the objective, “source of truth” with respect to consumer source attribution, traffic flow within and amongst our sites/platforms.
7. Be the expert on consumer online behavior including the ability to predict likely future behavior.



Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in marketing analytics, business analytics or comparable analytics position  
  • 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional and multi-faceted teams 
  • 8+ years of web analytics experience
  • 8+ years of digital consumer marketing and experience
  • 8+ years of ecommerce experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • Example: Must be proficient in Adobe Reader/Writer
  • Experience with SQL, SAS (data mining skills).
  • Thorough understanding of internal marketing analytics tools. Demonstrated strength in execution and analysis that drives results.
  • Experience managing geographically and culturally diverse teams. Examples of ensuring alignment between different matrixed teams. Success in developing high-performing and effective teams while encouraging outstanding performance from key individuals.
  • Robust leadership, management, and influencing skills. Proven success in working with and through a sophisticated, global matrix organization.
  • Business understanding of the technical structure of an end-to-end ecommerce and data process. Proven experience of understanding and influencing internal and external technical and business roadmap planning, implementation, and execution.
  • Monitor and refine existing customer KPIs by partnering with Marketing to identify improvement opportunities. 
  • Develop strategies, best practices, process improvements, analytical frameworks, share expertise with others, mentor and continually strive to improve overall contributions to the department.
