**You:**



Are influential and instrumental as you help shape the direction of AT&T’s marketing and advertising spend strategy. Your mastery of advanced analytics techniques, coupled with your media and advertising savvy, will propel you to direct return-on-investment (ROI) analytics in this space and conduct successful market test/learn analyses. Your expertise in these areas will help you to shine:



Multiple Regression Modeling



Structural Equation Modeling



State Space Analysis



Machine Learning techniques



Logistic Regression



Multinomial Logit



Hierarchical Bayesian analysis



Factor and Cluster analysis



CART/CHAID analysis



Hypothesis testing and experimental designs



This role is not for the faint of heart. Examples of what you’ll do include:



**Advertising Return on Investment Analyses**



+ Lead the test design, development effort, validation, results presentation and production phases of statistical models and analyses from hands on product development to client engagement.

+ Develop, disseminate and execute analytical methodologies for quantifying the impact of advertising (creative message and media spend) on sales, determining ROI, LTV and other KPIs and provide recommendation for optimizing advertising and generating incremental lift.

+ Create attribution solutions through a mix of top-down and bottom-up approaches utilizing various algorithms such as regression, game theory, machine learning to inform media strategy.

+ Conduct descriptive statistical and diagnostic techniques to determine model validity, accuracy and goodness-of-fit, such as: p-values, Variance Inflation factor (VIF), Durbin-Watson, etc.



**Data Management and Data Governance**



+ Direct the architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of large, complex data sets from varied sources.

+ Lead the team in integrating and enhancing robust data sets, automating processes, upgrading technology solutions, etc.

+ Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure, adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.

+ Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis.



**Market Test/Learn Analyses**



+ Design custom ad-hoc quantitative test/learn programs to quantify, triangulate and validate MMM and other ROI results/findings.

+ Leverage advanced statistical solutions such as: clustering/segmentation analysis, factor analysis, ANOVA, ANCOVA and perceptual mapping, etc.



**Lead & Mentor a Team**



+ Lead a team of principal advanced analysts and principal modelers and provide technical leadership using sound understanding of relevant statistical techniques



**You should have a solid foundation, such as:**



+ Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing or Business Communications

+ 15+ years’ experience in marketing analytics/market mix modeling, regression analysis and/or statistical modeling experience in a marketing setting

+ Market mix modelling with a focus on digital/social

+ Expert experience with statistical modeling and simulation tools such as SAS, SPSS and R

+ Expertise in market mix modeling and attribution

+ Solution architecture, data modeling, reporting and data warehouse tools/concepts, data architecture, and ETL experience

+ Experience with data and information visualization methodologies, tools and techniques

+ Experience in leading a team of highly specialized, technical analysts

+ Ability to validate and derive insight from large amounts of data from diverse sources

+ Basic understanding of marketing communications, advertising and media planning/buying process

+ Demonstrated experience interfacing with executive management
