We're a small, but mighty team, and we're able to achieve amazing results because we operate on a huge stage. We lead communications for e-commerce businesses from Walmart.com to Jet.com to VUDU. You'll help us drive consumer awareness for our sites and apps, in addition to the seamless connection with Walmart stores. In addition, you'll build awareness with suppliers as we continue to radically expand the number of items and brands we offer to consumers. Youll build a compelling PR plan working closely with the rest of our communications team. And, you need to be a great writer with the ability to create announcements, digital content and other materials that are interesting, conversational and sometimes irreverent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics

Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals

Develops media and digital strategies for corporate and business unit clients

Ensures corporate messaging enhances the reputation of business units across Walmart (for example, Walmart U.S., Sam's Club, International)

Manages reactive and proactive communication plans for business units across Walmart

Provides overall direction

Provides strategic expertise to Walmart senior management (for example, Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs) and Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs), divisional and category leaders)

Serves as a company spokesperson to ensures statements and key messages of high sensitivity and impact are provided to the mediaMinimum Qualifications:Degree in Communications, Journalism or similar or equivalent work experience.

10+ years PR, Media.

Experience in consumer PR.

Proven counsel to senior leaders.







+ 2 years of supervisory experience.

+ Bachelor s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field and 5 years experience in public relations or related field OR 7 years experience in public relations or related field.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:



+ 1 year experience working in a corporate retail or Fortune 100 environment.

+ 4 years experience working in a public relations agency.

+ 4 years journalism experience.

+ 4 years political experience (for example, press secretary, campaign work).
