Director of Facilities/Plant Operations

Turning Point Care Center is currently seeking a Director of Facilities/Plant Operations. This position ensures efficient and safe operation of all hospital buildings and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and documentation to include, but not limited to, the Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).

  • Engage in repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment, buildings and grounds.
  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control the operations of the Maintenance, Grounds, and Environmental Services departments.
  • Complete all duties and functions of the Hospital Safety Officer.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the facility Emergency Operations Plan.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
  • Manage vendors and contracts to ensure compliance, quality, and timeliness.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Five years of experience in facilities management,  plant operations, or other related field, healthcare setting preferred
  • One year of Supervisory and/or Leadership experience with a diverse workforce
  • Membership in state or national healthcare engineering association preferred; Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred
