FINANCE OPPORTUNITY IN PGIM

The Finance team for PGIM, currently has an opening for a Director of FP&A. Your role on this team will support senior management and other business partners in measuring and evaluating the financial performance of the business, forecasting earnings generation capacity under various scenarios, assessing the potential impact of opportunities and risks, and advising on strategic initiatives.
 
 
As a leader on this team, the successful candidate will be an individual who will thrive in a fast paced environment and relish opportunities to play a key role in varied assignments, shifting priorities as necessary to meet the organization’s needs. They will need to clearly and concisely communicate with finance and business colleagues at all levels and be committed to personal growth, eager to learn, and strive to make continuous improvements.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 2-3 people
  • Lead and oversee the quarterly planning process for PGIM, which includes the forecasts of the income statement and key business drivers, including scenario analysis under various economic conditions
  • Review and present multi-year forecasts, strategic initiatives and opportunities to improve financial performance
  • Lead, along with the Director and Manager of Forecast Redesign, the successful launch of the new integrated PGIM forecast model
  • Oversee financial modeling and analytical support for strategic initiatives
  • Initiate and support annual benchmarking studies and other competitive analysis
  • Drive profitability analysis by product and distribution channel
  • Assist in business specific projects as needed
 
Specific responsibilities for the position will vary over time based on business needs and other factors.
 

Required Qualifications:      
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred (or other major with relevant work experience)
  • 7 years of experience in financial analysis or reporting
  • Proven ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results
  • Experience building models to predict outcomes under various scenarios
  • Leadership / supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA or CFA are a plus)
  • Previous related industry experience
