Friends Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented HR professional to HR leadership, focus, and direction in all functional areas (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, etc.) The HRD will collaborate with facility leaders to recruit, retain, and develop employees to enable strong business and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for full cycle recruitment (understand staffing needs, source for candidates, leverages ATS, interview, select, negotiate employment offers, assist with orientation, etc.)
• Manages employee relations and retention management program
• Maintains all Human Resources files to ensure regulatory compliance (including files for non-employed staff and other contractors)
• Develops, implements, and revises Human Resources policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal, and corporate standards and ensures consistency their administration
• Monitors compensation planning program and wage and hour compliance
• Overviews employee engagement activities • Administers absence management process (e.g., FMLA, LOA, etc.)
• Conducts internal investigations and makes appropriate recommendations as needed
• Partners with Corporate Legal in responding to employment litigation matters
• Coordinates employee/staff development and annual mandatory training, including maintaining all job specific and on-going competencies required by Facility policy, and other regulatory agencies
• Advises with Facility management and consults with Corporate HR Operations on sensitive corrective actions, PI Plans, and other performance issues

Job Requirements

• 5 to 7 years HR experience, preferably in a Hospital or specialty healthcare services environment
• 3 to 5 years of management experience
