This position delivers Market Research and Insights with a focus on leading market sizing activities.  The Director of Market Insights will lead market sizing efforts with the goal to transform data into purposeful insights that are understandable, accurate, relevant and actionable.  The Director of Market Insights requires strong attention to detail, highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment; have the skills to build and maintain strong internal relationships with various cross functional teams. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance and maintain market sizing models based on a combination of external data sources and statistical modeling methods
  • Conduct and lead activities related to market sizing including developing, analyzing, reporting and delivering market sizing documentation on a regular basis and across multiple areas and products
  • Maintain Source of Truth metrics utilized in market sizing efforts. Continually monitor market publications and key sources for market sizing intelligence
  • Coordinate market sizing with multiple teams across the enterprise
  • Produce both in - depth analysis and high level documentation which can be shared with a broader internal audience
  • Develop and oversee the internal systems, templates, and tools to maximize the efficient delivery of market sizing
  • Conduct  primary and secondary research by managing the entire research process, defining the research scope and budget, selection of appropriate research methodologies
  • Manage other research programs, as needed
  • Develop and maintain market research plan assuring delivery of research on time and within budget and to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives to move swiftly in relation to marketing research problems and opportunities
  • Support strategy development, business planning and product enhancement / development activities
  • The position will receive guidance from the Vice President of Market Insights and will work in close partnership with key stakeholders in Marketing, Product, and Strategy
