Position Summary

The Director of Outpatient Services will assume responsibility for the day to day operations of the Summit Oaks Counseling Center (onsite outpatient center).  This includes overall financial, administrative performance of the outpatient center.  Organizing information of QI, Census Reports, and Community Resources.  Providing administrative supervision of staff in outpatient center.  Managing department budget.  Assessing, developing, and implementing programs under the direction of the CEO.  Interfacing with other outpatient centers and being a point of contact for referral development.

Direct care responsibilities  include formulating and conducting educational and/or therapeutic groups as needed to meet the needs of the population. Overseeing caseload assignments and, if necessary, assisting with case management. Participating in the development of the interdisciplinary treatment plans. 

Job Requirements

Education:  Master's degree in a health services field and NJ licensed as a LCSW or LPC required.

Experience: Previous experience with strategic planning and program development and 5 years experience in mental health services with an additional two years direct supervisory experience managing outpatient clinical services or a large clinical practice required.

Additional Requirements:  Ability to organize work. Excellent communication skills required.  Previous experience in the use of computers required.
