You'll be responsible for working with clients and analyzing the market to identify and deliver innovative product solutions to delight our customers and end users. You'll help lead product feature launch activities that keep our clients compliant, predominately working in an agile environment with a SCRUM team. You'll also combine business and product strategy to ensure the development and execution of the product is in line with the product road map and vision that the senior product owner sets forth. Responsibilities
* Support the ADP's Workforce Management product strategy by articulating the product vision, prioritizing features and articulating a clear roadmap for your assigned product line(s)
* As Product owner, manage execution for a specific product from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life
* Collaborate closely with development to build and execute the business case to migrate product(s) onto leading technologies
* Determine current and future client needs including incorporating insight from clients, service and sales, user research, feature usage and win/loss data
* Develop user stories and requirements while evaluating their potential and practicality by analyzing market and customer needs
* Serve as the central cross-functional lead across design, development, services, sales and marketing moving new product(s) from plan to pilot and launch
* Act as user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholders and align all development activity with business goals and priorities
* Manage the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement), working day-to-day with the product SCRUM teams to clarify requirements, to balance business needs with technical requirements, and to recommend alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed
* Collaborate with marketing, sales and service on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. to ensure that business objectives are achieved Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in a market-facing software/cloud product management, user experience, or technology consulting role
* Agile experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development environment
* Capable of developing a product vision and priorities through client and user observation
* Objectivity and the ability manage and prioritize competing requests
* Ability to clearly articulate business requirements
* Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally
* Ability to work and communicate effectively with engineering teams to accomplish project goals
* Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment necessary
* Capable of managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product
* Communication skills are key -- writing, listening, and presenting
* Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
* Experience with client facing web applications
* Must be a strong collaborator, team player as well as an individual contributor
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
