If you are located in Washington, D.C. you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire and train Medicare sales reps
  • Manage market level accountability for all distribution channels to deliver gross membership expectations
  • Drive community outreach activities and strategies to identify, develop and maintain relationships with key community and faith based organizations 
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities meet CMS compliance expectations 
  • Develop and implement tactical growth plans 
  • Represent Distribution by participating in the development of strategic sales and marketing plans through cross-functional collaboration with Local Plan leadership as well as National Community Plans leadership
  • Work with provider community to develop joint marketing campaigns 
  • Drive member retention activities to meet plan growth objectives
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years in direct Medicare Sales, with a current Health & Disability License
  • 2 years of Sales Leadership experience
  • Project management experience or skills helpful
  • Strong thought leadership, with demonstrated ability to create innovative solutions, while thinking strategically and acting with enterprise goals as direction
  • Meet  commitments consistently with ability to work independently
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Self-starter with high level direction, who assumes accountability to develop their own plan and strategy
  • Ability to act quickly with a focus on flexibility due to numerous deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate and influence others in a highly matrix managed organization
  • Proven ability to develop long-term relationships, while quickly gaining trust
  • Strong ability to overcome objections and be a solution provider
  • Possess strong ethics, integrity and the ability to focus on both local and national goals and objectives
  • Ability to support cross-functional, team-focused environments and to foster relationships within a matrix managed environment
  • Knowledge of bConnected and SMRT reporting tools helpful, along with Excel spreadsheet acumen to provide ongoing reporting weekly / monthly
