Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of technical acumen through experience and past success
  • Influence new designs, architectures, standards and methods for supporting our SRE platform
  • Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis as well as system tuning
  • Demonstrates a wide ranging knowledge of the businesses across the enterprise and industry expertise
  • Participation in the research and proposed solutions driving the stability and reliability of our products improving overall company quality and customer satisfaction
  • Establish and maintain relationships with peers and leaders, act as an internal resource for teams and business units
  • Participates in researching industry trends and how they will impact the company
  • Contributes to the development of the (SRE) function and how it influences Technology Strategy
  • Provides thought leadership in issue resolution regarding internal and external technology matters
  • Influence and lead enterprise wide projects for system stability
  • Helps advance the maturity and integration of DevOps tools and automation
  • Develop, lead and mentor associate SRE’s and Reliability Engineers within the organization
  • Leverage business planning and production performance to influence the creation of stable solutions
  • Responsible for the escalation of High Priority Production issues
  • Ensuring that the work carried out by the Site Reliability team is executed in such a way as to comply with the company’s internal compliance policies and directives
  • Being available to discuss and resolve technical issues and escalations with other technical staff as required
  • Partner with the Enterprise Architect, Development and Shared Services teams, Implementation Engineers and Product Management to develop performance testing plans that model client usage
  • Influence the design and architecture of technical solutions relating to the overall adoption to our SRE strategy
  • Measure application and environment performance, document issues and work with the development and implementation engineers to identify solutions 
  • Ability to be an articulate driving leader during war room discussions
