Job Description

::Develops, implements, directs and evaluates clinical program for ability to facilitate the instructional and behavioral needs of staff and overall effectiveness. Outreach to the community for internship, practicum, and potential funding resources. Maintains standards for licensure and accreditation.

Job Requirements

::

  • Must be able to drive with a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.*
  • Must be able to answer a phone to provide daily management of the office, staff and referral sources for educational services.*
  • Must be able to work on a computer to develop, implement, analyze and approve licensed required documents.
  • Must be able to use a fax, copier, or scanner to receive and forward required documents from the legal guardian, parents, referral sources or others as indicated.
  • Must be licensed as an LPC or LICSW in the District of Columbia
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy, regulations and guidance to teach, educate and train staff and managers
  • Be able to read, interpret, process reports, service plans, psychological and other clinical documentation to assess the clinical needs of a client and recommend the level of care needed throughout the student’s placement
  • Must be able to verbally communicate with referral sources, the client, families and staff; as well as read, interpret reports and regulations, service plans, IEP’s, psychological and other clinical documentation to coordinate the ongoing educational services.
  • Coordinates training schedule with trainers in conjunction with HR and QI.
  • Coordinates with HR and QI for training requirements and mandates.
  • Maintains training modules, supplies, and equipment.
  • Liaison with graduate programs for internship and practicum students and opportunities on behalf of Foundations for Home and Community
  • Provide outreach to the DC clinical community and District as whole for training and funding opportunity *
