By analyzing the rich data across the full drug development and marketing lifecycle, this team drives insights to action for some of the most critical business questions for the company. Ranging from which assets and new business ventures to invest in, to how we can communicate most effectively with our patients and healthcare professionals, to what are the industry and competitive signals we should look at in a changing health landscape, BA addresses key concerns as it serves as a compass and decision-support partner for the enterprise.

The PEH Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) team is accountable for leading analytic solutions and deriving critical insights to support commercial decisions for the Pfizer Essential Health (PEH) business unit. The Director, PEH BAI Global Customer Analytics is a member of the PEH BAI team and is responsible for supporting the PEH Customer Strategy (CS) and Customer Experience/Omni-Channel (CxOC) teams in their efforts to design and implement effective customer centric strategies to drive business growth across the core markets of the world. This role will provide day-to-day analytical leadership to the commercial team using a broad set of analytical approaches, serve as a thought leader on data driven marketing, and define and source analytical capabilities to deliver strategic and tactical solutions. Additionally, this person will be a critical thought-partner in the execution and optimization of a global measurement platform to diagnose the impact of CS and CxOC strategies and execution. This person will possess strong technical, communication, interpersonal and project management skills.


+ Develop and lead solutions to drive global demand generation, brand building, and loyalty strategies utilizing a variety of analytic capabilities (e.g., segmentation, driver and path modeling, mix modeling, attribution modeling, forecasting, predictive modeling, content effectiveness, etc.), systematic assessment of customer and business drivers, and optimal integrated data management

+ Leverage breadth of BAI capabilities to ensure optimal delivery of services through close partnership with the Customer Analytics Center (within BA Scaled Analytics) and the Data & Analytics Innovation teams

+ Translate customer insights into global and market-specific opportunities in close partnership with the CS and CxOC teams

+ Contribute to the execution of a robust global measurement platform focused around the critical drivers of customer behavior, business growth, and value creation in partnership with commercial and the BA Customer Analytics Center

+ Stay abreast of best-in-class approaches in customer analytics, analytic platforms and techniques, including research methodologies, social science concepts, data mining, predictive modeling, etc.

+ Be a strategic analytic partner and change agent across global PEH BAI, BA Centers of Excellence, PEH leadership, and other cross-functional partners [including Digital Channel Enablement (DCE) and Business Technology (BT)]

+ Drive global pull-through of analytic solutions and insights, in partnership with regional and local BAI colleagues and commercial

+ Assist in the execution of a BA Customer Insights (CI) Global Network consisting of global and core market CI leads and BA CoE partners to drive capability development, knowledge and best practice sharing, global-to-local coordination, and a one-BA mindset around customer centricity

+ Manage vendor relationships to ensure clear goals, capability development and timely delivery


+ 12+ years of work experience in pharma, CPG or consulting, with 5+ years in digital analytics space preferred

+ Graduate degree in business, marketing, or data analytics preferred

+ Proven ability to lead, manage and execute multiple projects involving a variety of complex analytic techniques

+ Outstanding business acumen and strategic thinking skills

+ Demonstrated experience leading initiatives in a heavily matrixed and global environment

+ Demonstrated ability to drive change, implement new concepts/ideas, and deliver in ambiguous environments

+ A strong "Customer First" mind set

+ Strong facilitation and presentation skills

+ Strong relationship-building, influencing and collaboration skills

+ Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders

+ Competency in regression modeling, working knowledge in machine learning/AI techniques and strong skills in statistical modeling & languages is highly desired

+ Experience with visualization software

+ Expertise with pharmaceutical data a plus

**Some international travel may be required**
