Job Details


The individual is the primary point of contact to all the US based national retail pharmacy associations. The individual is responsible for developing areas of alignment between pharmacy and Pfizer which will advance the proper and safe use of medicines. This person is also responsible for proactively identifying potential areas of conflict, and to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential solutions. She will work with the Trade Account management team to support them in similar efforts within chain and independent community pharmacy.


+ Through collaboration with the retail pharmacy customers, develop innovative programs and solutions that demonstrate the value of our medicines, for patients and for our healthcare system.

+ Understand the policy and legislative priorities of the profession, and those of Pfizer, and collaborate with Policy and Government Relations to advance mutual areas of interest.

+ As the retail pharmacy expert, provide insight and support to all Pfizer stakeholders, on any questions or issues that may arise.

+ Leverage your strategic relationships with pharmacy to advance the Pfizer product portfolio needs, and to create an external environment that values the proper use of medicines.

+ Develop and maintain the Trade Strategic Operating plan.


+ Minimum BS Pharmacy degree

+ Outstanding Communication skills, written and oral

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience as a pharmacist, with experience at pharmacy association being a high priority.


Skill with Excel and development of Powerpoint presentations highly desired.


This is a salaried position with somewhat irregular hours, including weekend travel. Because the pharmacy Associations Annual and Mid-Year meetings occur throughout the country, at any time of the week, the individual will be away from the home office with airline travel at least two times a month, for 2-4 days in duration, and that can include weekends.
